I found on the internet that in the late 90's when Woolworth went bankrupt, the European(or only German?) division went on independently and has about 150 stores in Germany according to their website. I had never been to one, before last week haha.

Arrrrgh!os have their christmas catalogue out, but there isn't much christmassy in it. Marks and Spencer have opened their christmas shop sections but again, things are very thin on the ground this year...

Have been getting a Christmas catalog in the mail almost every day now. Also - commercials on TV, especially for layaway purchases. Alot of stores have some Christmas items for sale, but haven't decorated the stores/mall yet.
