Usually the stuff I look for is popular but not Soccer Mom Death Squad popular or pitch a tent 1 week in advance popular. lol! Usually I can be done with shopping by 9:00 a.m. Then I can go to breakfast with hubby. :yahoo:

However the trampling does happen and has caused deaths before.

I'm just glad I live in a somewhat small town! In the big cities, just the shopping CROWDS are bigger than our whole population!

I live in a small town now. However when I lived in Nashville it was really bad i would see people come to work with bruises and screeches.

That kind of stuff is scary!
And that's why I don't do Black Friday; my town is too small to have any good sales but the big cities are scary!
And then that's why I try to get my shopping done before Thanksgiving ;)

That's why I pefer Cyber Monday.

I think Thanksgiving is my idea of a pure holiday. I too love the 3 f's--food family/friends and football. West Virginia University Mountaineers--Go 'Eers! and the Pittsburgh Steelers!
