That's not actually a bad idea, but I've never done it.
It'd be just my luck that somebody I'd bought a really expensive gift for ended up dying that year and the warranty by that point had ran out. :sad elf:

I usually see what she's into at that point. Last year I got her this cookbook, chocolate and bubble bath. Just ask her what she has an interest in and work on it from there.
What about services (like a spa treatment, or to have someone do something for her house)? Or tickets to something she likes (a play, game or tour)?Quote:

Haha Im definately with you two, impulse all the way. Its ok though, I rarely go shopping for things I dont need anyway, so it doesnt come up all too often
