Custom LED Light Lengths?

I have a quick question. I've been searching both Google and this site, but I'm not finding anything. I may just be using the wrong keywords.

Anyway, what recommendations do any of you have when one strand of LED outdoor C7 Christmas Lights is too short, but two strands are two long? Is it possible to cut strands to custom lengths? Any other suggestions?

I am not sure what to do. you would think cutting them would be a fire risk if not done properly. Could you double up on some of them? :carols:

Sciocco,

You could put black electrical tape (or white, they sell that too) around the bulbs so that you can't see them. The LED "bulbs" don't get hot so you don't have to worry about the tape getting too warm. You would just have to hide the rest of the cord.

Much safer than trying to re-wire them.
