I am considering the Nov. 2007 set that includes a newly colorized version of the movie. Does anyone recommend it? Is it worth buying? :snowman:

I'm traditional, so I have some reservations about not only quality, but also the overall feel. Turner did a color version years ago that was lacking, to be kind.

If you buy it and don't like it, you can always turn the color off on your television set. That's what I do with my I dream Of Jeannie Season 1 DVD's. Someone was heading to Costco to buy it and asked if I wanted a copy too. I said yes, and he bought the colorized version. Rather than return it, I just turned the color off.
