My DD is in Athens Georgia and got over 7 inches of snow .they had no lights for awhile and no water. the lights go on and off but still no water.seems no one owns a shovel or ice melt! nothing.I told her to gather snow in pots and bowls so at least she would have something to drink.I think everyone should practice preparedness.

I prefer the weather in October the best. I like it to be really drizzly and gray and gloomy.. I tell everyone it reminds me of Eeyore and that makes me happy...

Of course in my country, all these happen at the begining of November.. Or, if we are lucky, at the end of October.
