Oh wow, you aren't too far away then :) *waves*
Do you know of anything fun to do for the holidays?
I am thinking of taking my family to Christmastown this year, last year I went to DS Botanical Gardens. A friend and I are going to the Southern Christmas Show at the Charlotte mart in Nov that looks like a lot of fun!
Have you found anything near by?

Welcome, ladyice!
I ordered vintage milk bottles from an emporium in Matthews, NC, a long, long time ago! It's a small world. :) I think it was called Matthews Emporium.

Hi onemagicalchristmas & Marshmallow World!
Thank you for the welcome :)
onemagicalchristmas - I love Carolina Place Mall, I go there a lot. That and South Park are my two favorites. The traffic can be difficult though ;)

Not too far away at all. :waving:
Actually, I'm working on a Christmas website all about things to do in NC and SC. You can check it out at www.twinklelights.webs.com (http://www.twinklelights.webs.com). It's still a work in progress, but I've gotten a good amount of activities on there so far. Let me know what you think! :gelf:
The Southern Christmas Show is a lot of fun...My mom used to work at the merchandise mart, along with my cousin and grandparents, so we went to the SCS for years while I was growing up. :tree:

Have you been to the Peppermint Forest Christmas Shop (http://www.peppermintforest.com/seop/default.asp?s_id=1)? It's in Pineville, near Carolina Place Mall. Great Christmas store! :gelf:

Carolina Place and South Park are both good malls, and the Christmas decorations over by South Park are excellent! :christmastree:

I can't think of that store, how long ago was it? It is a very small world...I'm still surprised by the number of NC natives here! :santahat:
