Relaxing! My daughter's Sweet 16 Party was a big success on Saturday night! The kids had a great time. We had about 145 people in all! It was originally scheduled for Friday night = but we postponed it due to the blizzard! Then the power was out at the hall so we had to sweat that out! Luckily it came back on and we didn't have to call everyone again! Nothing is ever easy!

Hello Christmas friends! I haven't been on the site lately. My mom has been sick and I have taking care of her. I hope everyone is doing well. We are just about to have some dinner. It has been a horrible 24 hours. My sixteen year old daughter lost two friends yesterday in a heart-breaking car accident. The two boys were good-looking, popular athletes and seniors at school. My daughter is just devastated! The last time I saw the boys was at the Sweet 16 party last month. I'm so glad they had a good time. The schools are closed this week for holy week/passover. Unfortunely, they would have been alive if the schools were open. The boys were driving to baseball practice and were hit by a dump truck at 11am yesterday morning! They were so well liked that the entire community is in shock and mourning! I can't stand this!

The photo right after it was taken at Melissa's Sweet 16 of Chris and some of Melissa's girl friends!

I first read about the two boys, yesterday,after you told me.
Then, I searched a little on Intenet about it and that devastated me..
I read everything about the boys, saw a lot of photos, read how good they were at baseball and that they were preparing for college..

Chris and Vinny were exceptional kids - way above and beyond the average! They were probably the most beloved kids in the school! The kids are taking it so hard. Have to drive her to the funeral for Chris now.

Overcast and cooler today! Wanted to do some yardwork, but my eye is overly sensitive to anything containing bleach and I am having a reaction right now due to something stupid I did a few days ago.
