I'm also on halloween forum under another name, but due to the fact that I have been forced to give up halloween, I am throwing everything into christmas props, (which may meen converting some of my former creations into christmas things) anyway, any I'm still new to prop making, so i may be pestering you guys with questions about stuff! :D

So let's see...I love all things Christmas and usually I keep a Christmas CD or two in the car. Mariah Carey's was the last one I listened to!

I'm a really huge Christmas tree fanatic! I love big fake trees, real trees, ceramic trees, white trees, retro tin trees. :christmastree::christmastree: My husband says it's a sickness! You know how scent can bring on a feeling of nostalgia? Open up the storage bins that hold your lights, tinsel and ornaments and SMELL that unique combination of electrical wires and old stuff! The wierd smell that brings back so many happy memories for me. Strange I guess but you remember Scratch n' Sniff stickers from the early 80's? I wanted them to make a Christmas Lights one!

I'm also that person to make a Griswold tree. Ever put 2000 lights on a 7' tree? *raises hand* And a third of them were twinkling! lol!!

For DH and I, Christmas is the best time of year because it's open season for being a kid. Nothing really about presents, it's about the excitement and fun of being with family and to hang up the adult skin for a month. :dance:

Just because I live on here more than I do anything else, or I dream Christmas 365 days a year, or I run (not walk) to the stores with Christmas stuff early to get stuff before everyone else, or I play Christmas movies to do my laundry, cleaning etc. or I wrap the bottom and top of a pair of pajmas in two separate boxes so there are more gifts under the tree, or I scold people who don't show up for anything Christmas I plan, hmm. wait. Great to find such a positive forum, it doesnt get much better that! Delighted that it's finally December and couldnt resist signing up - it also happens to be my birthday month. As for my Christmas credentials, for the last three years me and a couple of co-conspirators (TheSeasonalSongsters) have kicked off the Christmas period by creating Christmas songs. In 2007 it was 'Christmas 07' in 2008 it was 'Christmas 08' and guess what this year's song is.. go on, have a guess! Anyway, we have received some mixed reviews, including from my girlfriend who described one of our recent efforts as "awful, just awful". Praise indeed.

Anyway, when the music starts then Christmas is coming! Now I just need to choose a thread to post in, so much choice! Suggestions gratefully received!

Every year my sisters myself, my niece and mum put £5 a month aside and spend the last saturday before christmas at the cinema, all day, watching any christmas films on, we spend all of the money on tickets and eating popcorn, nachos etc. We normally see about 4 films and have so far been able to time them so we only have about 10-15 mins before the next one starts. We have been doing this for about 6 years now and all love it.

I like planning for Christmas all year, too, in fact I live for Christas and believe me, this is all very difficult for the 2 following reasons..

1. My family/friends/relatives/everyone except here, think I need medication..
