For a few of my extended family members, I'm going to do "in a box" gifts--a lot easier than taking a guess at a few of their interests!

What's an "in-a-box" gift? Well, how about an example: for my sister, I'm doing a "90s in a box" gift. She LOVED it when VH1 did their "I love the 90s" shows; we were born in the late 80s, so had our childhoods in the 90s. She LOVES that stuff. So for her "90s in a box" gift, I'm going to get her a bunch of 90s things: Full House and Boy Meets World DVDs, stick-on earrings, slap bracelets, squeez-it juice bottles, a Carmen SanDiego game, one of the choose-your-own-adventure books that came out in the 90s, maybe a My Little Pony... that kind of stuff.

It won't necessarily go "in a box"... I'll probably be more creative than that.

For my sister-in-law, I'm going to do an "outdoors girl in a box" gift: pink binoculars, outdoorsy stickers, a pink water bottle, bbq sunflower seeds (her fave flavor), a pink ball cap, some hand warmers, maybe a pink camo blanket if I can find one or make one.

For my little nieces (one's 2, the other will be born next month), I'm going to do "Big sister/Little sister in a box" gifts.

What do you think? Got any ideas for other "in-a-box" gifts?

Great idea! You can do a "movie in a box" theme, with DVD/Blu-Ray, cool wood or ceramic popcorn bowl and boxed popcorn. :presents1:
