This one is especially for OLGA! Sorry that I haven't been around much lately - my class load is pretty heavy and I don't have much internet time.

BUT - I had time to start my Christmas trees this weekend!!!! Here's the first - all multicolor lights with multicolor ornaments and garland. This tree has about 2,000 lights! I'm also proud to say that all the decorations and lights were purchased in 2007 during Target's 75% off after Christmas sale. There I was hitting all the Targets in my area collecting this theme, driving around like mad...haha. :)

I'll put the tree skirt on when I dig it out of the Christmas closet. It's in there real deep and couldn't get to it yet.

Every one has such nice trees.

Kitty, I have the same ornaments but I didn't get as much as you and mine looked a little sparse. I didn't use multi-colored lights either as I had bought a white light pre-lit. My new tree isn't as full as my old one that I put lights on but I gave it away before I purchased new one. Your tree looks beautiful. How did you do your garland?

I very much enjoy specific colour-themed trees but Multicolour Trees bring me back to my Childhood!

I'm saving this photo to use as a desktop background on my computer this Season!

Thank you Donna! :) I love the multi bright collection at Target, too!

I did about 10 strands of garland for the tree, which sounds excessive but my tree is nearly 60" at the base and almost 7" tall. I do garland by spacing it about 4"/10cm apart and gently layering it among the branches. :tree1:

I'm truly flattered! Thank you! :) My husband and I are big fans of multicolor trees...as you can tell...lol! They're really "happy" looking trees.

When I get my tree skirt out and under the tree, I'll post another picture so everyone won't have to look at the wooden platform anymore.

Ah! Sorry! C7's are a bulb size. They are popular in landscape lighting and occasionally on Christmas trees. Here are some pics:

I had to look closer - I was thrown because each bulb seemed really, really bright! Are your new LED lights the larger bulb size or are they tiny?

Isn't it odd how obsessed I am over bulb size? You'd think I was a man.

Hi Ladies :)

I should start to use LEDs. I am about 95 % finished setting up my tree and my poor tree has around 3650 conventional minilights in it. The tree has taken me 46 hours so far to set up. I am going to create a new thread for it and post pictures later on today.

The Train Room Tree.

This tree is in the study. It is decorated with mostly Hallmark,Avon and fishing ornaments. This is also the tree we put our presents under.

The Big Tree

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a231/buck1018/christmas/nov07038.jpg
This tree is in the Living Room.It is decorated entirely with molded and blown glass ornaments. Some of these date back to our first Christmas together in 1975.

ElfGirl, As much as I love my Big Tree with all its shiny glass ornaments the study tree is probably my favorite. It has several light and motion ornaments, ornaments my kids and grandkids have made through the years as well as many ornaments my mother gave to me The study is my get away. The walls are covered with fishing paraphernalia, old lunch boxes and toys, Railroad items. It’s the first room I light up every evening after work, then I sit back and unwind and think about so many wonderful Christmases gone by.:christmastree:
