Celebrating the joy of CHRIST and so many other things...the songs, the decorations, time with family, the feelings Christmas brings, and the love and goodwill people show this time of year.

My favorite part is Christmas eve in church. The carols, the greenery, the little ones falling asleep...
Folks seem to glow with good will like the candles on the altar. It isn't Christmas for me without this experience.
The days before Christmas, decorating the house, searching for presents and wrapping them up, trying to imagine the joy they will bring. I love xmas eve, when gathering with my family. :santa-smiley:

I love Christmas Eve- the magical feeling, sense of anticipation and holiness. And I love when there are children all excited for Santa! :rudolph:

Christmas Eve is wonderful with children...I can remember how excited my siblings and I would get after dinner on Christmas Eve. We always opened presents with my mom's sister and her family and my grandparents. Then it was home and off to bed so Santa could come! :santa1:

As stupid as it sounds, but I really love driving out to meet family and friends and driving home from that later. Together in the car with our dog and christmasmusic on I couldn't be happier.

I sometimes like to be out and about on holidays; "mingling with society" sometimes gets me more in the mood. :christmastree:

I love everything about Christmas. I love watching and hearing about Christ's birth. I love the decorations, the music, decorating the tree, the lights, the gift wrapping, getting together with family, seeing people's faces when they open their gifts. No matter what else was going on my parent's always made my Christmas's extra special.

I think I like just about everything about Christmas as well. I love to listen to Christmas music, watch Christmas movies/TV specials, going to look at Christmas lights, shopping and wrapping presents. I also like to go if any church in my town has a live nativity scene you only drive by but it reminds you what Christmas it all about.

I think besides watching all the xmas themed shows and shopping for presents the thing I like to do most is build a huge fire in my pit out in the backyard and sit with friends and family and have some beers and toast marshmallows

Haha maybe, but during the summer the fire pit is covered by an above ground pool. The heat is so bad here during the summer I dont think anyone would appreciate the warmth of the fire :D Maybe beers and pizza in the AC lol

Yeah Chrstmas eve is exciting and fun...but I cant help being a little sad, only because you know that its already over! I think my favorite time starts in Oct..only because its just the beginning and you have 3 months to soak in the season :D

The whole Holiday season, but most of all, waking up on Christmas Morning. The adrenaline I have when I wake up is like no other on any other given day. :gelf:

I totally get what you're saying. I'm starting my Christmas "High" already. My family thinks I lack something in my everyday life:jumping:

Sometimes I think I "feel" Christmas the most when most people are not even thinking about it. :christmastree:
And I like this board, because these are the people who have Christmas in their hearts. It's renewed the holiday for me.

Waking up on Christmas Morning is my favorite moment too...
However, I have to say that this day is also a weird one, because somewhere, inside me, I feel that the 25th of December is one of the last days of Holidays..
And that makes me a little sad..

our favourite part of christmas is,
setting up the chairs and settee with the names of the children. They have always made
name places for them. When they have gone to bed putting all the presents out.
Even for the two that have left home, they come in the morning, early to open them
with the rest of the family:santa-smiley:
