Hey everyone,

So I have some lighted Christmas figures that I like to put outdoors on my yard, but the wind keeps knocking them down. I was just wondering how you guys keep them from falling. How do you fasten the figures to the ground to stabilize them?

Thanks and Merry Christmas

have you tried using lawn stakes and rope? I don't have anything up outside but I would try these two things.

^^ I agree. Lawn stakes should work well :)

Welcome Sakmak!

I used to put them where I wanted them and then pour sand into the bottom of them through the hole for the light. It took some time, but it worked pretty well. Then when you remove them, you can just pour the sand out through the light hole again. (if we are talking about the same thing here...Blowmolds)

Good Luck!

My dad always used stakes for our nativity figures. Once he passed them on to me I did the same thing...I got some wooden dowel rods with one end that was sharpened into a point, drove it into the ground and placed my figures over the stake. So far they've worked fine. I also found this online: http://www.mesquitechristmas.com/how_to/blowmolds.html :santa1:
